About
Terence Tait
Terence Tait has a unique experience as a relocation specialist, as the Yukon’s borders were closed for 2 straight years from March of 2020 to April of 2022. During that time, Yukon’s Real Estate Adviser was ranked 38th in 2020, 49th in 2021, and 20th in 2022 out of approximately 6100 Re/Max Western Canada Salespersons.
How did he assist clients in buying and selling when they couldn’t cross into Yukon Territory without quarantining for 14 days? Through zoom client introduction meetings and showings, constant emailing back and forth, and excellent communication with lawyers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
It is nerve wracking to buy a home of course, but to do that from afar without seeing one of the biggest purchases you’ll ever make with your own eyes – you’ve got to trust your realtor. In the last 2 years Terence has received the Diamond and Titan club awards from Re/Max Canada. He has also sponsored and volunteered with various community not for profits, including the Whitehorse Charitable Firefighters Society, the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Yukon, Ride For Dad Prostate Cancer Research, the United Way Plane Pull, Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival, Available Light Film Festival, The Yukon Rendezvous Sourdough Sam competition, and the Velvet Antler’s Dance company.
He also hosted a community garage sale in 2023 that was a huge success and covered by CBC North, with over 70 homes officially participating. In 2023 year to date, Terence Tait is currently 88th out of 25000 Re/Max Canada agents, with a large percentage of that clientele being from out of territory.
